— PREMIUM SOUTH AFRICAN BRAAIS · AUSTRALIA —

Where South Africa
Meets Australia

Bringing the soul of the South African braai to the Australian outdoor kitchen — one handcrafted fire at a time.

Welcome to Braaimaster.

Pull up a chair, gather your people, and let's braai.

At Braaimaster Australia, we believe a braai is about so much more than cooking over fire.

As native South Africans who have called Australia home for more than 20 years, we’ve carried one tradition with us wherever we go – gathering around a braai with family, friends, and often people who quickly become friends.

In South African culture, the braai is at the heart of every great get-together. It’s not just about the flames or the food; it’s about slowing down, sharing stories, enjoying good company, and creating lasting memories. The fire brings people together, but it’s the experience around it that makes it special.

From delicious starters enjoyed while the coals settle, to carefully basting and perfectly braaing quality cuts of meat, every part of the process is meant to be savoured. There’s no rush. A great braai is a social occasion where conversations flow as easily as the food.

Braaimaster was born from our passion for this way of life. We want to help Australians experience the unique tradition of the South African braai – bringing people together around great food, great company, and a fire that becomes the centre of every gathering.

Fire First

We believe in wood fire cooking. Not gas, not electric. The flavour, the ritual, the community — it only comes from real fire.

Built to Last

Every braai is engineered from grade 304 stainless steel. No shortcuts. Built for decades of use, backed by a 10-year warranty.

Authentic Heritage

Our braais are made in Cape Town by craftsmen who have been building fires for generations. That knowledge is in every weld.
